UFI members are not individuals, but organisations (companies, associations, federations, etc). UFI admits two categories of members: Full Members and Associate Members. In addition, UFI approves a certain number of exhibitions and trade fairs organised by its member organisers, upon strict selection criteria.

Full Members are:

  • Individual or multinational organisers of international trade fairs/exhibitions:
  • Their subsidiary companies organising events and their subsidiary companies in the service sector may also become UFI members.

  • Organisers of national trade fairs/exhibitions;

  • Owners/managers of exhibition centres, who are not trade fair/exhibition organisers: They rent covered and open-air space to one or several organisers of trade fairs/exhibitions, but they do not organise events themselves. They must dispose of installations and services appropriate to the organisation of international trade fairs/exhibitions.

  • Associations gathering exhibition organisers and/or exhibition centres.

  • Organisations for the control of trade fair/exhibition statistics and for exhibition industry research.

    In 2008, UFI has 531 Full Members, including 282 Exhibition Organisers, 56 Hall Owner Managers, 125 Exhibition Organisers & Hall Owner Managers, and 38 Associations. For more information on each full member company, click here.

    UFI Full Members are entitled to use the UFI logo as a label of quality, by reproducing it on all their printed or virtual materials, related to their company and their events approved by UFI. No authorisation is given to use the UFI logo in connection with exhibitions which are not approved by UFI.
