Within the context of its
working committees and
regional chapters,
UFI regularly conducts surveys and studies regarding subjects of common interest for its members and for
professionals in the exhibition industry (marketing/promotion, statistics, new technologies, education, etc...).
Examples: "Use of Internet by UFI Tradeshow Organizers"; "How to Make Future Business Managers Exhibition-Minded?";
"Use of Empty Halls During Inactive Fair Period", etc...
Recently, the following surveys and studies have been carried out among UFI members:
Survey on the "Use of New Technologies by UFI Exhibition Organizers" carried out by the UFI
Information & Communication Technologies Committee.
This survey aimed at evaluating the penetration of new technologies among UFI member companies and the software they
currently use (E-services to exhibitors and visitors, E-business, Datawarehouse, ERP, CRM, etc).
Survey on "Waste Management by UFI Exhibition Fairgrounds" carried out by the UFI
Operations Committee.
The purpose of this survey was to set up a global overview of waste management policies in practice among the owners/managers
of the major international fairgrounds (UFI members).
The results of these surveys are accessible to UFI members only, in the
Members' Area section.
