"Thinking outside the Box"
Exhibition industry professionals from 40 nations gathered in Bilbao, Spain, to share information and ideas on timely marketing topics at this annual event organized by UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. Hosted by the Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC) from June 18 -20, the 2007 UFI event theme, "Thinking Outside of the Box," challenged the marketing professionals to actively participate in direct industry issue votes, matchmaking sessions and "Ask the Expert" discussions.

UFI has organized its second open seminar in Asia in Seoul. It attracted 190 industry
professionals from around the world to Seoul from March 8-9 at the COEX exhibition
and convention centre. Jointly hosted by the Association of Korea Exhibition Industries
(AKEI) and KOTRA (the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency), the event addressed
two key themes on "Improving Your Exhibition Competitiveness" and "The Changing
Role of Venues in Successful Exhibition Business".

UFI's 2006 Open Summer Seminar, hosted by the Finnish Fair Corporation in Helsinki,
