Award 2006
"Best Ideas to Win Customers"
The Sixth UFI Marketing Trophy is awarded to Suntec Singapore Int'l Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The announcement was made today at the UFI Open Summer Seminar in Helsinki, Finland.
Elena Arabadjieva, Director of Marketing Services & Communications for Suntec Singapore,
accepted the UFI trophy from UFI President Tom Beyer and Berislav Cizmek, UFI Marketing
Committee Chairman. Semi-finalists for the 2006 competition were: CES, USA; CeBit,
Hannover; Excel, London; Messe München, Munich; RAI, Amsterdam, and Suntec, Singapore.

Award 2005
"Best Customer Satisfaction Programme Using New Technologies"
The 5th UFI Marketing Award was presented to Messe München International for their winning
entry related to the International
Trade Fair for Sports Equipment and Fashion (ispo).
Messe München International's winning entry is related to their ispocard® membership
programme providing added value for members since 2002 at both the summer and winter
editions of the Munich ispo event and, beginning in 2005, at the ispo Shanghai and
ispo Moscow events as well.

UFI Summer Seminar 2005 on 13-15 June 2005 in Villa Erba, Lake Como, Italy.

"Best Press & Media Relations Programme"
The fourth Marketing Award edition rewarded the most innovative and successful actions
implemented by UFI member organizers and aimed at promoting exhibitions using the
press and media channel.
The UFI Marketing Committee selected
International fair - Plovdiv as the winner of the UFI Marketing Award 2004,
for its trade exhibition VINARIA (International Exhibition of Vine-Growing
and Wine-Producing).

"Best Programme to Increase International Participation"
The third Marketing Award edition rewarded the most innovative and successful actions
implemented by UFI member organizers and aimed at gaining international exhibitors
and/or visitors.
The UFI Marketing Committee selected Messe München GmbH (Munich, Germany) as the winner of the
UFI Marketing Award 2003, for its trade exhibition IFAT (International Trade Fair for Environment and Waste
Water and Waste Disposal: Water, Sewage, Refuse, Recycling).

"Best Visitor Winning Programme"
The second Marketing Award edition was focused on visitor-winning programmes implemented
by UFI member organizers and used for UFI approved events.
This year, the Marketing Committee selected Jaarbeurs Exhibitions & Media (part of Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs, Utrecht, The Netherlands) as
the winner of the UFI Marketing Award 2002, for its trade exhibition VSK 2002 (heating, sanitary engineering,
air conditioning).

Award 2001
"Best Visitor/Exhibitor Loyalty Programme"
The first edition of the UFI Marketing Award rewarded the "Best Visitor/Exhibitor
Loyalty Programme" implemented by UFI member organizers. Due to its completeness,
its creativity, and its efficiency, the loyalty programme submitted by Nuremberg International Toy
Fair was selected by the Marketing Committee as the best programme, and
was presented to the professionals of the exhibition industry during the 9th UFI
Summer Seminar held in Bolzano/Bozen (Italy) in June 2001.
